An Ode to Japan - Vera Wang

Enjoy my personal selections of the Vera Wang SS 2011 -

The collection interpretes grand gestures with volume and worked with complex draping, playing with scale and Japanese influence. Subtle references to her Japanese theme - soft kimono patterned blouses that could have been made with fine Japanese homespun silk and a shrunken quilted vest inspired by samurai's armor styles.

Plum sequin Chrysanthenum with black cotton canvas and chiffon origami -
                                                                                a wonderful dress!

I love Vera Wang's Cherry-blossom prints, bright on black satin dresses -
a wonderful theme for next Spring which I'd like to wear!

Pink Japanese floral silk wool Geisha dresses ...

Architectural explorations and exceptional drapings refined with
                                             wonderful fashion jewelry - awesome!
